Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today’s topic is from Hive-Ghana, which says: Hive As An Inspiration. So let’s dive in.
Honestly, I never imagined in my life that I would become a writer or even call myself a blogger one day. Before my sister @princessbusayo introduced me to Hive, writing was something I never thought I could do. My mindset was that writing is for those who are intelligent and fluent in speaking English. But when I joined the Hive blockchain, my mindset changed.
When I joined Hive, I saw normal people like me sharing their daily routines, their thoughts on different things, and what’s happening around them. What surprised me the most was seeing people engaging and commenting on what they posted. That was when I realized that I could also do this. I didn’t need to be perfect or fake, I just needed to be real. My introductory post on Hive was guided by my sister. She told me she was going to introduce me to Hive and that I should write about myself, including my hobbies, my favorite food, etc. Honestly, I was scared and doubted if I was capable of joining the Hive platform, but thanks to God Almighty for making everything perfect for me. When I posted my first post and saw how many people read it and even dropped comments, I was so happy and excited because people loved my post.

That was how my journey on Hive began. I kept writing two posts a week because I was a newbie. Thanks to my sister @princessbusayo and @fashtioluwa, whom I call big Fash, who helped make my Hive journey easier for me. Whenever my sister was busy and I ran to @fashtioluwa for help or guidance, even if he was busy, he would surely create time to attend to me. Even though I didn’t know him personally, I met him through my sister and he treated me as his younger sister. Whenever there were mistakes in my posts, either he or my sister would call my attention to it and correct me. I will forever be grateful to them for their time and effort.
The first time big Fash told me, Wow, Tosin you’re improving, I was so happy because that was what I needed to hear. When I noticed I was improving, I stopped giving them my posts. I told myself, Oluwatosin, now is the time to put everything your sister and big Fash have taught you into action. I stopped giving them my posts to read because I wanted to be independent and take responsibility for myself.
Hive started shaping me. It helped me build confidence I thought I didn’t have, helped me express myself better, and helped me discover that even though I’m not perfect in writing, I’m still improving. It made me realize that I have a little talent in writing.
Before I joined Hive, I never saw myself as someone who could write up to 500 words, but now I can write over 500 words without any problem because it is now part of me. Hive has truly been an inspiration to me. It didn’t just make me a writer and blogger—it made me believe in myself. If not for Hive, I would still have the mindset that writing is not for people like me. But today, I am happy to say I am a proud blogger.
In conclusion, Hive has inspired me to become a writer. I never saw it coming, but Hive brought it out of me, and that is one thing I will forever be grateful for.

Is good to see Hive bring out the writer in you. What we need sometimes is the platform and the people to push us, then we can see what we can do or not. Well done to your friends for helping through.
Yes, what we need is someone that will push and encourage us, what we thought we can't done will see how it will become easier for us.
