Privacy is a state where a person is not disturbed or Observed by other people. Privacy should be observed in various ways. Many people will be talking much more about privacy on the internet, i will follow the trend too.
The internet is a great invention, that have really had positive impact on communication, data sharing, research, medicine, engineering in fact almost every field of life can be easily be researched through the internet.
I remember in my school, i used the internet to make several researches, i did my projects and assignments.
Fast forward to now, i don't read newspapers again, my phone is my new data bank, through the help of the internet, i can easily search and download the stuffs i want, including download of movies, music, ebooks and lot more, Big thanks to the emergence of Social Media, people can now meet each other, share photos, music, videos and lot more to each other. This is a very amazing invention, but there is a down side to usage of the internet. I want to speak on one of the big demerits of the internet. This is the aspect of the internet that involves sharing our datas. Including personal data.
Here is how it happens actually: i will use a social Media sites for example:
During the process of signing up, : you give out a lot of your personal data; which includes your Names, your location, your occupation, your pictures, your password, your videos, your house address, your school information, your business information, your family datas, the list goes on. Haven given out all those data, whenever you use the internet or you opened your social media accounts, some bits of your personal datas , is being used, and sold to some companies, wether the government, advertising companies, google, or some random sites.
Am quite sure you might have noticed some advertisement popping up in your browsers that is so very much related to your previous needs, that seems capture all what you are expecting to have or need.
Here is the work of some of your data being sold to advertising companies. They use the information gotten to make the Advertisement meet you as a specific target.
What i actually felt about this
To me i feel very bad whenever my private data is being shared and used by others, i think there should be a kind of consent the owner of the account should be given from the social media companies.

Yeah thats a sure thing, people are getting used to it, even me, i don't take the privacy breach situation so important again. There is absolutely nothing i can do about this.
