Many of us would agree with me that onboarding on Hive can be the most frustrating thing you’d experience, especially when you have wasted your precious saliva to explain the do's and don'ts of the blockchain to the person. He or she would be nodding their head like an agama lizard in the affirmative way. And you would be excited that you are part of those who make Hive move forward, which, of course, you are.
But along the line, you just realised how you’ve wasted your time and even spent some Hive to bring them here, only for them to tell you, “writing is not my thing.” Ehn? What did I hear you say? You didn’t tell me writing was difficult when I started the mission! You didn’t tell me in the middle, so I don't continue to waste my time! But you dare tell me after I have done everything, brought you on board, force you to make your introductory post and then, boom, you are nowhere to be found.
That can be frustrating and annoying, right? Who is with me on this?
I certainly know many of us have gone through this experience before. We only wanted to be that Good Samaritan who wouldn’t want to be making money alone, but to teach our fellow humans how to catch fish, too, because I don’t want to be giving you my fish now and then. We just wanted to be the kind souls who brought an opportunity to you, but what do you pay us back with?
It’s so stressful to teach people how to navigate Hive, and that contributes to the anger in us when we don’t see them appreciating our efforts. But the thing is, a lot of them only wanted to make money, and they don’t want to go through the process. That’s not possible, man!
I have lots of experience as regards bringing people to Hive; while some stayed up till now and are enjoying the reward, others have left after their introductory post. But one thing I wouldn’t do is force you. Nah! I won’t.
Two months ago, I onboarded another person who I thought was willing to put in her effort. I sat down on my own when she came to ask me if I had an opportunity to earn online, and I didn’t think twice to invite her to Hive, because why not? That’s where I am. So, we fixed a particular day to get her registered. Thankfully, we stayed together, which kind of made it easier. You would agree with me that it’s more stressful explaining online than a physical meet-up because one thing I don’t like is having too many screenshots and video recordings on my phone.
After many failed attempts to register using the free option, including through Ecency and Inleo, nothing was happening. I knew how stressed I was that day, but I was so willing to bring her here. If only I had known the future, or maybe if a bird had come to whisper into my ears, I wouldn’t have wasted my precious 3 Hive.
That was how I used the Keychain app when @nkemakonam89 told me about that. We successfully registered her account, and I guided her to create her first post, which was an introduction. However, she hasn’t made another attempt to write a post or engage since then. I felt cheated though 🥲
As if that wasn’t enough. It’s just that I am too kind, sha 🥴. Another lady begged me to introduce her to an online work. I emphasised to her about writing. I even discouraged her on how difficult it is to write on Hive because I was afraid of bringing another person, and knowing I would still use my Hive since the other methods aren’t working. But she promised to stay.
It’s been up to two weeks now that I have registered her, and writing an introductory post has become a Herculean task. The first one she actually wrote was generated by AI. Can you imagine? When she sent it to me and I read it, it was too obvious to know it wasn’t hers. But just for me to send her a proof, I checked with a plagiarism detector and found out that 90% of it was not her idea. I told her to write another one. Well, she sent the drafted one to me yesterday, but I haven’t had the time to go through it.
Onboarding can be a difficult process for someone who isn’t even interested but wants to make quick money, but it becomes rewarding when the ones who really mean business stay, and they’d definitely enjoy it. This makes me happy, too. So far, I love the work of Toluwanih and my sister Oluwa-Tosin as they are still active and enjoying it.

Onboarding on hive is not a child's play. I give it to my unborder for her patient and unstoppable guiding.
It takes a lot of patience to explain lots of things here. I give it to all onboarders.
Walahi
Everyone think making money is easy but there is no way to make easy money. It require efforts. People come to Hive because they think it's very easy to do and when they found that it's not so easy, they run away.
What to say? People nowadays think themselves as smart and can do anything. But they forget that they are not the only smart here.

Thank you, @intishar
We've been so long here to detect an AI written post. Many people don't want to put in the work but wants fast way and it doesn't work that way.

Making of money is not something that comes or what one can get on a platter of good. It needs hard work and patience
It can truly be frustrating.
I know how I also stressed @kingsleyy that introduced me. But I thank God, I didn't give up.
