Hello amigos, if I had the opportunity to invent a new thing I would actually invent a car which uses water instead of petrol or gas as its source of energy. This for me would be a better way of making transportation fare cheaper and also help to reduce the cost of goods and services. For me inventing a car that can make use of water as a source of energy is going to make the world a better place because water can be easily found more than crude oil which is refined into petroleum.
One of the advantages of this invention to the economy is that there will be a sufficient transportation network, i.e a lot of cars and motorcycles for easy movement, it would also make drivers easily use their vehicles knowing fully well that their vehicles' source of power is water. When this is enforced the cost of transportation fare across the globe would be less and convenient for the masses.
Just think 💬 of why inventors haven't come up with this suggestion of making water the ultimate source of power for an automobile. I guess they are much busier with other research, with the help of automobiles that can use water for transportation people can easily go to their place of work conveniently. This idea has actually come to my mind a long time ago, and if I have the capability I would urge scientists to look forward to a transportation of automobiles with the aid of water.

Hey @rmme - Good luck! I enjoyed reading your post. It's an interesting thought experiment.
Actually, there is quite a history of people trying to invent a water-powered car engine, or pretending to have done so. This link may be of interest: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water-fuelled_car
About extracting hydrogen from water to power the engine, the article says,
There are some reports that Toyota have developed a water-powered car, but according to Forbes they are false reports: https://www.forbes.com/sites/rrapier/2025/06/15/no-toyota-didnt-build-a-water-powered-car/
On the other hand, hydrogen-powered engines produce water vapour as exhaust - so water is the end product, not the fuel.
Another thought... In many parts of the world water is not so plentiful, so water-powered cars - even if they were feasible - might make water shortages even worse in those areas.
Maybe solar-powered cars would be a better alternative? I just found this entertaining video about a guy who made a 100% solar powered car!
Thanks again for your post. 😊

Omo if it were possible to have this , it would made good sense and save cost for people
But dont forget thst water too might become costly afterwards. Thanks for sharing.
