HI beautiful people,i hope our day is going smoothly. A word of motivation from me to someone out there that might need it,you know life is full of battles and most times people fight them in silence,You see people walking around with smiles on their faces but deep inside they are struggling with something they cannot even talk about to anybody even people close to them. I have come to understand that no matter what we go through in life the only thing that matters is not giving up even when the road looks rough and the journey looks far we must keep moving forward because at the end the result will make the struggle worth it, and that is what should keep us moving.
uhmm you see growing up was not easy for me especially as a female child,in my family the belief was that a girl child does not need to go far with school,the mentality was that once you can learn hand work or once you get married then your life is settled,but me ooo deep in my heart right from my childhood iv neve accepted thst idea,i wanted something different and i wanted to change the whole mentality we are in the modern world now,i wanted to wear the gown on graduation day and make my family see that a girl child can also achieve great things in life.
The road to that dream was not smooth. There were days I had nothing to eat before going to class like going with empty stomach without even knowing waht to eat after i reach home yet I still went because the hunger of my dream was greater than the hunger in my stomach,There were times when I saw my mates dropping out of school because of difficulties and I was tempted to think maybe I should also give up. But something in me always said keep going.
When I finally graduated from school with good results and later went for my service in plateau state Nigeria, i felt the greatest joy of my life,that day was not only a victory for me but also for every girl that ever thought she was not enough. It was a message to my younger sisters and other young girls around me that we can go far no matter what society says about us. That moment will forever remain one of the proudest moments of my life.
Life is not always smooth,challenges will always come in one form or the other. Sometimes it may be financial struggles, sometimes broken relationships, sometimes failure in exams or even self doubt,but the truth is if you stop moving then you will never see the light at the end of the tunnel. Smiles may cover the pain but your decision to stand strong and not give up will one day give you a genuine smile that comes from victory.
To anyone reading this who is fighting a silent battle I just want to tell you that you are not alone. It may take time but the storm will not last forever,keep holding on and keep believing in yourself i believe One day your story will be the reason another person decides not to give up.Thanks for reading my little motivational words
