Thank God that the child is ok, because I can't even imagine what the mother would have done if it gets more complicated.
Life is a precious gift given to us and I believe that no matter what one is going through in life, as far as you are breathing, then there is still hope.
Though some people tend to end their life because the can't bear the pains or struggle in life again, I wouldn't blame them because everyone has a threshold of endurance that they can bear with.
