There are a lot of people these days, who absolutely lose their minds when a tweet does not exactly align with their chosen beliefs. Somehow another's opinion means SO much to them that they take it personally and let it ruin their day. Maybe a subtle form of mental illness? Who knows?
Some people actually have lives. They do their thing and just don't listen to things that they don't like, or just turn off their phone once in awhile. It is not so hard to do (but if it is hard...,maybe you might have a little problem?).
Could a tweet really be stronger than you? Only if you let it. Meanwhile, I have better things to do with my energies. All the best.
Wise words, we choose to read tweets, facebook posts, watch youtube. If we are offended by what we see the solution is simple, don't read that tweet, facebook post or watch that youtube video. All content isn't for everyone we choose what we consume.
