not much to say about these, and so apparently HW is back so we hit you with some filler about rats that now one will read...
The filler
We talkin about rats today. Yeah, the ones in the subway, the ones people freak out over. But honestly? After reading this stuff, i got a newfound respect for the little guys. They are basically the ultimate grinders.
First off, everyone thinks they are just mindless pests, but they got serious social skills. There was this study where rats would literally free their trapped buddies from a cage, even if there was no reward for it. They’d even save a slice of chocolate for the prisoner rat after letting them out. Honestly, that's more empathy thn i see on most of these "community" discords lately. most people would just eat the chocolate and let you rot, eh?
Physically, they are built different. A rat can tread water for like three days straight. Three days. I can barely swim a lap without gassing out. And their teeth? They never stop growing. They gotta keep gnawing on stuff just to file them down. They can chew through cinder blocks, lead, and aluminum. If a rat wants into your house, its getting in. It’s that brute force mentality... kinda reminds me of debugging my python scripts at 3am. Just keep gnawing at the error til it breaks.
Also, they laugh. If you tickle them (don’t ask me who’s out here tickling rats), they make this ultrasonic chirping sound that represents joy. So yeah, next time you see one scurryin across the street, just know it’s probably smarter, tougher, and maybe even happier than half the people walking around staring at their phones.
