Words is a very powerful tool but it all depends on how we make use of it, some people have unknowillingly use their word to destroy themselves and the life of others while the same words have helped others to grow.....
As Human, we must be very careful with things we say especially in public because we don't know those who won't be happy with what we say and they may use it against us to cause our downfall...
Some people will say anything just to make people around them laugh even if their words is at the detriment of others, we should learn to put ourselves in the shoe of the person we are mocking to see how they feel before we pass lame jokes which we think others will find funny...
What you termed funny can be a nightmare for the victim!
Here is the story of a young girl
Sandra was born into the family of Mr and Mrs. Oladejo, she grew up to be a very beautiful girl but an unfortunate fire accident happened when she was 6 years old that ruined her life...
She was consumed by the fire which causes a very big ugly scar on her face, the ones beautiful girl now becomes someone people do not want to play with anymore, this was devastating for her parent and they decided to change location hoping for a better life and friends for their child but it only got worsen when she started schooling in the new environment....
Whenever she walks, she sees fingers pointing at her and the pupils laughing at her misfortune, this had a change on her, the cheerful girl became a loner and aloof but this still doesn't heal the pains in her heart...
A day can't pass without her class mate passing hurtful comment at her due to the dent on her face, she bears this for good 6 years but the pains from people's hurtful words only consume her more..
She did what what she thinks would take away all the pains away, she committed suicide, it was a bad day for her parent because they tried to make her happy the best way they can but the parent love is just not enough..
She died
All those who mocked the dent on her face regret ever doing so, because they realized they were the cause of her death, but it was too late!
This is what happen in life, People don't care about how you feel before passing hurtful words and sometimes it may be too late before they realize their mistakes...
Let us learn to be kind with our words as a good word from us can make someone's day and a hurtful words can also be the reason a whole week is ruined

Wow, this is so informative. I agree that a lot of people do not even think before they talk or even care what they dish out to other people. We need to be very careful of the kind of words we throw at people because we don't know what it can make them do.

STOPA lot of people neglect words, thinking that they are just mere words.
