Hello famz! Big thanks to the steemmonsters founders and their team for the amazing stuff they are doing for the game and also kudos to the curators as they are really doing a great job too, this weekly challenge is helping players earn more and also improve their writing skills..
This week challenge is using horny toad to win a battle, i would love to take you on a ride to get to know the full details about this particular card before sharing my battle post...
When the Horny Toad puffs up and fills itself with air, razor-sharp spines protrude in every direction from its body. This amazing defense helps make sure the toads are not eaten as snacks. They also urinate uncontrollably when frightened, an attribute repulsive enough to save their lives quite frequently.

The Horny toad is bestowed with two unique abilities which are the reach which get activated at level 1 and the poison which get activated at level 6...
- Reach - Melee attack monsters with the reach ability may attack from the second position on the team
- Poison - Attacks have a chance to apply poison which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied
So i had a fixed match with #henry-gant and the rules stated
- Reverse speed -: *Monsters with the lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks
- Earthquake-: Non flying monsters take two melee damage at the end of each round
Set up
- LORD OF DARKNESS
i used the lord of darkness as my first card due to his amazing abilities which are the shield, retaliate and enrage, it makes him very brutal in battle and since it is a low mana cap, i know he will perform well..
- HORNY TOAD
I used the toad as my second card because of its reach ability so it can support lord of darkness in attacking the opponent monsters...
- FURIOUS CHICKEN
The chicken is known to be the most used cards in battle on splinterlands since it cost no mana, i used it as my last card in order to secure my defence from sneaky monster incase the enemy come with any...
Yea, it worked perfectly and i won the battle, probably next time i might try to use lord arianthus as my first card as it also have shield and thorn abilities that can be used to overpower the enemies..
