Feels good to finally make an entry in this talent hunt. For some time now, I've wanted to participate but couldn't for some reason. Well, here's my first entry.
I've shared about being a graphic designer, sharing some of my designs even when necessary. A few times, I've mentioned being a video creator/editor. The much more complex nature of the video editing world; from the gadgets, apps/software to the work nature has kept me on a part-time scheme. However, this presented an opportunity to showcase it.
My bid to bring up an entry led me to do a bit of videography first. The location used was the option within proximity. It's a video about nature. So, I had to find a site with some natural elements at least. The location wasn't the best for this, but I had to use it, gather the little I could and turn all that into my entry.
The site had some vegetation and a water body, which were captured, utilising some creative techniques. The sun was okay, giving the flowers, leaves and trees good lighting, and also a good reflection effect on the water body. After that, came the editing. This took me through different transitions, video effects, colour grading and so on. Not too much, to avoid chaos. But the visuals had to be appealing, even the background song.
In the end, the video was achieved. And the message is clear, ‘Take out time, to spend time, with nature.’

Nature truly has all the beautiful elements our eyes can see and you've captured some of them beautifully in this video. The edit is really nice and creative. And the chirping of the birds? Well done!👏
