Hello splinterlords and splinterladies around the world, how are you today? Hope you are enjoying this new season. This game is somehow very difficult for me; it is not easy like the former setup which only requires you to play your daily quest and claim your loot chest.
After yesterday's battle, I claimed only 4 loot chests today.
Well! Half bread is better than none, just like the title of this post.
Yeah! I was not happy with my reward because I was battling to get more rewards. I wanted to get more rewards after the day but couldn’t get it.
On the other hand, i was very happy that i got the 4 because i knew that there are players that did not get up to four rewards sometimes.
I want to share this battle I played. I love this battle because of the way I arrange my monsters and combination of my monsters.
RULESET
Healed Out: All healing abilities are removed from monsters and summoners.
This is the reason I did not use any healing ability monsters in this battle: using healing ability monsters in this battle is a waste of a monster because its healing ability would not be ineffective in this battle.
Noxious Fumes: All monsters start the battle poisoned.
The major reason I used silvershield bard, since I don't have monsters with immunity; the best thing to safeguard my first monster in the battle from poison was to use a monster with cleanse ability.

ARRANGEMENT
Uriel The Purifier: The melee and recharge ability Uriel the purifier was very important in this battle. You could see how it attacked the hunted spirit in the second round and destroyed it.
I knew the presence of Uriel the purifier would be a vital tool in this battle.
Uriel was eliminated in the third round of the battle after the shieldbearer was eliminated by a phantom soldier.
Djinn Renova: The strengthened ability which gave additional health to all friendly monsters was incredible. The magic attack of renova was reduced which was not so effective against opponent monsters. If their renova magic attack was 2, i would have won with narrow escape.
Silvershield Sheriff: The health of this monster fascinated me and I knew this monster would take longer than expected. Silvershield sheriff was among the monsters that lasted long in the battle. If not for the Silvershield sheriff, I would have been defeated in this battle.
Silvershield Bard: This monster wouldn't be in my lineup but I needed the cleanse ability more than any other monsters in this battle because that is the only way to make sure the first monster would not be affected by poison.
I knew that a cleanse ability monster like a silvershield bard is very important in this battle and I looked for every possible means to use it. It was very important in this battle to cleanse any impurity from the first monster, especially poison.
Sandworm: the melee is the major thing here for me. Cut the lifespan of dark ha’on to short, eliminated octopider in round three and ancient lich in the last round. Sandworm was one of the monsters that did extraordinary work in this battle.
Shieldbearer: since the rule of this battle ruled out healing ability monsters and summoners. The plan left for me was to use a taunt ability monster so that the opponent monster can focus on the taunt ability monster rather than my first monster in the battle.
In conclusion, I did not win this battle and I did not lose. The battle was drawn.
Hence, half a loaf is better than none because it is better to draw than to lose. When drawn it will not affect your energy capture rate, points and FP; but when one loses, it affects.
Since I did not lose this battle, I strongly believed drawing is better than losing, which interpreted half a bread is better than none.
