I respectfully disagree. In South Africa, and in our village, people have died. People have been very ill. The hospitals overwhelmed, their staff exhausted. I know people who have been infected and not ill. I know people who have been very ill and have recovered. I know people who have been very ill and who have died.

What, or where ever this thing is, I don't care. I don't like the lockdowns and am on record as having been conflicted. I respect them and I see how the numbers shift when restrictions are in place. That does not mean that I don't feel the isolation and want to rebel against it or let my hair down - a little - when the restrictions are partially lifted.

Again, whatever this thing is, it's going to be around for a while and out of respect for people I care about, I will heed the medical fraternity. We are priviliged in South Africa to have some of the best virologists and epidemiologists in the world who are advising WHO. Our second wave is largely thanks to four young people who knew they were infected and who partied among a large group of people. Those four infected another 850. You do the maths.

You are welcome to your views, but when I know names and grieve for people who still suffer the after effects - either because they cannot shake the symptoms or because we have lost people, I cannot believe that this is a fraud.

Oh, and welcome to Hive.

Well if theres no isolated cov 19 yet thats whats being splashed around everywhere. It most certainly is a fraud.

Yep the covid hoax has endless believers who havnt managed to grasp that germ theory is utter bullshit...
