A single mother of two who was struggling financially was asked to evacuate the house she has been living for years. Well, in as much as she was struggling, she always made effort to pay her bills and not just paying it, but paying it in time. This news from the lawyer in charge of the house really made her very worried. She did not pay so much concern, thinking it was negotiable, but unknowingly, the problem was not just about her but the house. The house was on mortgage and the bank were coming in no time to claim it.
On hearing this recent news, she became even more worried until another news that sounded hopeful but seemingly impossible came right in. She was told that she could bid with the bank to get the house in which the starting price was $30,000.
The start up money was even discouraging for her shadow to even go close to the court. For crying out loud, we are talking of a woman who barely earns well. But guess what, SHE SHOWED UP!
Lesson 1
Sometimes, Do Something Courageously Stupid!
Don't make that face, you heard me right. Sometimes, do something stupid without little or no fear. This woman showed up and was constantly smiling in the court room not because she was bold but because she knew she was just pranking them. How can they believe she had such amount of money? She pondered, but kept on laughing profusely but silently.
The biding started!
Lesson 2
Don't Just Watch How Stupid it Looks, Start Your Bidding
Many times, we make life changing decisions and stay right in that spot of post decisions effect. We are not meant to be in that fixed spot instead we ought to be walking, pressing in and probably, flying. This woman was in shock, cause she was doing somthing crazy, bidding for a house she struggles to pay rent for? She did not stay right there in the spot engrossed with fear about the next move, but she continued.
Lesson 3
Have Fun!
She was having fun while bidding. It all started from $30,000 to $35,000. She raised her hands and bidded up to $40,000, the bank representative kept staring at her, why will she compete with a bank? She wondered!
The bank representative raised prices up to $50,000 but this single mother kept on raising it higher. Well, I guess one's confidence rises when one have nothing to lose. The bank representative raised it to $69,000 and was very skeptical of going further(and still with the inner belief that this single mother won't afford this very bid price). Surprisingly, the broke hopeless woman still bidded up to $70,000 and the bank gave up.
Great news! She Won! But just in a movie she played in her head? She had no money, how would she pay what she bidded for?
Lesson 4
Be Calm
The judge asked her to negotiate with the bank to pay for the house. She looked straight to the judge's eyes and said, "I don't have the money". The judge was angrily surprised and was about to fine her for wasting his precious time. But he had a second thought, and told her to bring the money in two weeks time, if not, he will fine her heavily.

Look here! Miracle Exist!
She was in shock while leaving the court room looking and walking confusedly. "What the heck did I just do in there?" She screamed within her mind. She went home, search through all her contacts and wrote them one by one.

Lesson 6
Be Responsible and Positive
She began calling, asking for loans. She called all her contacts without shame or fear. Sometimes, I guess we all need to loosen up a little. After all, the bible says we should ask and it shall be given unto us.
God gives to men to give to you but ask with knowledge and discretion.
"Am I the one who is asking for such loans from people, o boy!" She thought. A week passed by, and she was able to raise $40,000. The next day passed by, two days passed on, then the day before the main day came, and yet she haven't completed the money. She became worried. Afterall, we are humans, our hearts are not made of steel. She worried more than believing this time, it was the next day and nothing seemed coming in.
Fact 7
Did I say Miracle exist? Just Start!
The day came and she began preparing to go to court to be fined heavily. At least,she could use the loans to pay for the fines. How will she pay back those people she borrowed from? What a tragedy indeed!
But hey, guess what, a call came rushing in and it was a couple who have been saving for years to buy a landed property but they haven't been able to complete the money. Someone referred them to her, she did not even know the people who did that. She jumped out of the bathroom hopefully "how much do you have?" She shouted in joy, "$30,000, but you will have to pay with 0.8% interest at the end of the year" the couples replied.
She broke down in tears and cried victoriously. She could not believe the power she had in raising such money. A woman who walked right in that court with the mind of hopelessly pranking the people present. "Is this real?" she asked herself.
With all excitement, she entered the court room jumping with the cheque, well, only her knew what she went through, no one will ever understand. Not everyone will understand your problem better than you.
She became a landlady and paid off her debt in barely two years with the rental services for tenants. What a story indeed!
In conclusion-The potentials is in you
Everything happened because she simply showed up. Our life might not be about mortgage, house or rent issues, it might be family, work, within us and so many other things. Let us try to always show up for ourselves because no one will sustainably do that for you except you.
