It is unwise for the world to determine your happiness. Can you imagine waiting for things out there to change for your happiness? Well, I don't have any problem in achieving things that will make you happy but I have a problem when it comes to waiting for these things. How can one wait to be happy? Happiness should be a lifestyle and not a dependent factor. In this post, I will expose you to your inner potentials that will enable you become more aware of your powerful being.
Why We Think Life Is Hard!
Life can only seem hard for people who depend on it for their survival. Depending on what nature brings to you in order for you to live, is like waiting to be crucified not in the cross this time, but in the grave. Nature is always against man. If you don't water your plant, it will never remain the same instead, weeds will grow over it and kill it. So, you can't live better if you don't keep on renewing yourself daily with motivation, inspiration, self awareness, declarations,meditations and affirmations unless you want the weeds of depression to choke you up.
Life is only hard because we fail in giving it a good response. When you embrace all what life gives with the spirit of accommodation, you are a city without walls. You are not to accommodate everything but the things you choose and your choice is based on the awareness of what is good for you.
You will derive long lasting happiness where nothing really matter except you. This is called an inside-out approach according to Stephen R. Covey who explained how private victory preceeds public victory. That is, to become sustainably effective and happy publicly, you must have won within your self. This shows that happiness, joy and peace is determined by you first before any other thing.
How We Have Become Slaves

Our thinking and perception concerning several challenges in life has made us to become slaves to pitiful thoughts. When we pity our selves, we are becoming slaves to those thoughts and when this passes signals to our body it will become even way worse. When our body start becoming used to that position you have created for it as a result of consistent thinking of those thoughts, it definitely becomes an habit. So even when you want to change your thoughts by all means, your body will be taken by surprise because the position you want to shift the body to is new and will take great amount of decisions and discipline to put the body at where you choose. This makes you a determining factor.
Even the Bible says, "your spirit is willing but your flesh is weak"
How Can you Become Victorious Within?
Private victory has nothing to do with your family, friends or colleagues. It has nothing to do with people you love. Here, you have to focus more on loving yourself, because until you do that, you won't be able to give it to anyone else. To become victorious by oneself, you have to firstly detach yourself from everything. The noise around you keeps distracting you and yet leading you to mood swings.
Mind you, detaching oneself does not mean to mute everyone around forever but rather, for some hours or minutes. This is what we mean by meditation.
Why Meditation Can be of Help
Meditation helps you shut the noises around you to become more focused on your daily pursuit. When meditating, you are training your body and mind to stay in a particular position which means that you are gradually taking over. On a normal day, maybe the hours or minutes you spend for mediation is used for dressing to work, but this time your body and mind is under control by you. Thoughts may come to shout at you "What the hell are you doing? There might be traffic!" but yet, you still insisted.
At this point, the world out there is not controlling you to respond to it but you are telling it what you are rather doing that will help you get better out there.
Until one discovers the ability of taking control over every good thing in life, one will forever be subjected to mood swings and dissapointments.
Try meditating, affirming words to your mind and body, becoming aware of who you are, training your body to stay where ever you want it to stay. This is not easy, but continuos practise will make you perfect. I think this Is the best thing I became conscious of since this year started, and believe me, I feel so good : )
