Network marketing is the kind of business that depends on people for the growth of a company and such people are rewarded. So, instead of paying systems to market their products, they make use of people(mostly on referral basis) who are ready to tell people about their personal experience with the varieties of products. Also, we all know that naturally, Man is moved by stories especially ones based on one experience.

There must be a value that represents the company which can either be services or products.

Many ponzi schemes built on this structure claim to be a network marketing business because it has a referral scheme. Well, a referral scheme is not the only factor that beautifies a network marketing business but only augment the whole process. However, the problem identified here is that fake networking business makes referral program the sole purpose of the game. Without referral, the business will not thrive. If you did notice, in the former, I made mention of products, which is exactly what a fake marketing business lacks. If you are in networking business just based on referral and getting paid with no products or services rendered, then you might probably want to opt out or rather change your portfolio to a referral sales person.. Funny right : )

The Real Network-It is not all about sales

A real network marketing business is not just focused on sales alone, even though that is one major lifeblood of all businesses, rather, it is more focused on building a network(chains of people)by bringing in more people that will bring many other people not just to buy products but to stay in the network. To convince people to remain in a network to continuously promote it requires training, conferences and education. Therefore, they are interested in your growth especially your knowledge about network marketing. They don't perceive you as just a marketer but a pointer to creating chains of networks from your end. More interest is spent on improving, teaching and enlightening you of how you can lift others up and teach them how to make money and not just getting commission from sales.

The Fake Network-No Sales, No Network

The fake ones are just focused about how many deals one was able to close daily, monthly or annually. They are more bothered about how one person can bring in money to the company without realizing that, every man in this business is like a seed in the soil that can reap fruits if been watered and look after. That is, they are not ready to invest in educating you on how you can reap these fruits (which is creating your own network) Instead, they are short term sighted and are more focused on what they can gather now. This is very unsustainable and it is bound to cripple. If your network business is not interested in growing you in knowledge and enlightenment through audio CDs or books, conferences and experiences, then they are not interested in the seed in you.

According to Stephen Covey, people are more focused about the golden eggs but not the goose who lays those golden eggs. For sustainabiltity, you need to take care of the goose.

The Real Network- Hard work and Determination Oriented

To grow a network, you need to be hard working and determined to focus in this course. Network marketing needs proper knowledge to begin. It is better to learn something for five years than to become frustrated and give up in the sixth month of learning. It takes time to build a network, so you need to be extra careful of companies that are too promising to achieve a lot within a short period of time.

The Fake Network-Get Rich Quick Scheme

A lot of ponzi schemes built on a pyramid scheme are mostly found in this section. They are too promising to achieve more than just enough in a short period of time. But things don't work for long in that manner. It takes time to build a network but it is much easier to bring people in to just sell products. Remember, the goal is not just sales but growth of the network. I have a friend who is always moving from one network to another with the ideology of building the greatest mansion with it. If you go into networking with this ideology without dreaming to have great knowkledge about it, you might never get enough of the money.
Look out against pyramid schemes that urges and psych you up of how much wealth you can posses in months without training you. They are merely scam and will definitely fade off In no time.

In conclusion, scrutinizing your business and it structure, try visualizing how many years such business can thrive. Like Warren Buffet says, invest in a company you are willing to buy. That is, you need to be honest with yourself, is this business worth investing my time in?

Network marketing don't just help you leverage on meeting people but helps in self development of courage, social interactions and entrepreneurship.

Lastly, it is very disheartening to see people who claim to be pro in networking marketing and yet fall prey to pyramid ponzi schemes.

It is very disheartening. Most people with this perception have no or little knowledge about cryptocurrency, so they educate other people in their level of ignorance
