During my childhood days my and my friends use to have this conversation that how wish money will just come and we become rich to the extent we do now need to work again. But does this really exist?? No, it's a big fat lie. No matter the amount of money you have, relaxing is never one of the plan to make more money. Money has to do with investment, thats what generate more money. A person who has a lot of money can not just go and sleep and believe that the money will cater for his needs until the end of his life. When I grew up I heard most people saying that the plan is to make money and relax. Come to think about it, relax how? Is that not the most craziest part of it? What was the main aim of making the money if not to multiply it? Success people do say is not a finish line.
Many people always think that success is when they reach a particular point where they stop working, or growing. Whereas it's not so. This mindset people have kills their spirit and their purpose. This stage of relax as it may be called, to me I will say it's laziness of the highest order. We are in a world were everything is competition and reaching a point and feeling that you have arrived a peak that you need to rest is when others will pass you by. Remember remaining stagnant is the worst things that can ever happen to a man, no going up and not coming down,in which theres a higher chance to go down.
If you check your Bible the book of Mathew 25 vs 14 to 30: when Jesus taught about the parable of talents: where the master gave talent to different savant. It was the savant who didn't multiply his own talent that was rejected. If you read the passage you will discover that the savant who didn't multiply his talent, his talent was take and given to another. This let us understand that we should not relax, no matter what we achieve.
In conclusion: success what never the end of the journey. God blesses us with lots of opportunities, talents, wealth and wisdom to multiply not to relax. The day we start relaxing, that's when we stop improving and when there no improvement, Failure start there.
