Learning how to fail in front of others is one of athletics' greatest gifts. Not only can failing help teach a lesson, but as an athlete, you'll never get to learn how to win if you don't fail at first. This mantra is also true for all areas of life and hinges heavily on your ability to learn new things, no matter how difficult, and how much you might hate them.
People avoid exercising because they fear looking foolish, sharing their writing because they fear criticism, and opening their hearts because they fear rejection. Sport teaches you to confront your fears. Once you learn to do so, you will have overcome one of the greatest obstacles to success and personal development.
Flexibility and adaptability are signs that the mind is active. It can be changed, modified, and given new forms and meanings. You can take responsibility for the change in your mind and commit to the new it can create. As you change, so too does your experience. You may not feel it at first, but as you gain experience you will adapt.
When you practice mental flexibility you're doing something very different from everything that defines the word "fitness". When the mind is set and unyielding, it is dead. It cannot take in new concepts or ideas. It is hard and rigid.
We tend to have old-fashioned minds if we cannot adapt, keep up with the latest, understand new ideas, and change our usual ways of thinking. Only one very good thing we could do is to get new things to learn.
Without change, we do not grow. I would like to assist you to continue the process of learning even with the passage of time. The most effective way I have found to do this is by abandoning the fear of what others may think of me, and venturing to be rejected in order to gain new skills.
First, however, select a task that you would like to do. It should be something that intrigues you but you feel hesitant to give it a try. Then, go ahead and make that attempt.
"The way out from the trap of life is to find the very thing that we have to do, to discover what we would not do, to comprehend what aspects we did not like, and to understand what we liked. The rest is only details. We need to change our daily pattern – but at the same time, we also need to breathe.” – Wayne Dyer
To think anew is to be up-to-date with the world that surrounds you. What it signifies is that you have to adapt with the times or else you will remain static and obsolete. The most and the best successful people in the world have accepted to adjust their behavior even when their personal feelings, their passions, and their principles do not agree with it.
Most people live their lives with a mentality that is stuck in the past. They keep on believing the falsehoods they tell themselves, such as "I am already grown up to follow the new fads of no use", or "it is a pity because the new technology has now moved into the 'fringe'", or "a fashion is just a fashion".
No matter in which you believe, that thought or idea could be the very thing that is stopping you from the great life experiences you long for. If you repudiate that belief, you will be capable of creating a new self with a different perspective and view of the future.
You are as new as the knowledge you possessed in your mind yesterday. This knowledge no longer governs your life but merely guides your actions.
If you have an old-fashioned mindset you will stagnate. An 'open mind' means that you allow new ideas and information to enter your mind as you change, move, and become a new you.
Knowledge is never at a standstill. You learn new things every day, and that implies that change is unavoidable. Moreover, it also implies that these new things are not only new, but you also know that you have changed, and this provides you with a sensation of youth and revival.
New info is never static. It is changing. You cannot continue to think that you know the same things as yesterday. That which is old has gone, and a new world has come. This is the world we inhabit now, and it is always changing.
“As a man thinks in his heart so he is”, and what you had in your mind is what governed your actions and behavior. It is the same mind that refuses to recognize the fact that you should no longer wear the same clothes as you did yesterday.
To be able to change, you have to start with understanding your mind. The more you know about your mind, the more that you are conscious
We can remain young throughout our lives, not only because we do not age but because we adopt a new mind, a mind of abundance and harmony, and we become one with the changes that happen.
Changing has to be your priority, not only for yourself but also for other people. The power of learning is positive.
So, Never put a stop to your learning journey. You cannot know everything about life in just one lifetime, however, you can make a decision to learn as much as possible from different sources, and this will keep you updated and young in mind, body, and spirit.
Reading, Studying, Listening, and observing keeps your mind fit and young.
I talked about this to my coworker a few days ago. I know some people in my age who are stucked and can't or won't learn no new things, Bitcoin for example. No one in my family, at work or friends, not even my son does know how Bitcoin and the blockchain works and what Bitcoin was made for. There are many other examples like Web 3. No one knows Hive or have ever heard of it beside my occasionally mentions. I could understand it if someone is older than me but 20 years younger people? Really?
Old fashioned doesn't need to be bad. Some old stuff was good and is still good but you should have an open mind to new ideas and learn new stuff.
!BBH !DUO
It's really crazy how people are so struck in the past and consider new learning uninteresting. For the past 5 days, I have been trying to teach my wife how crypto works and possibly see how I can create a Hive account for and buy some Leo and LSTR for her, but it's been a hell of work teaching an adult.
My two sons too are just too impatient to learn about Blockchain and crypto. This generation just want things easy and quick.
I bought an offline wallet for my son's wedding and gave him some Bitcoin. Now he must learn how to use it. We will meet soon so I can explain everything. I tried to teach my wife multiple times but she is just not interested. Even saying that, when I would die all the crypto is lost because she doesn't know how it works, didn't help. I guess it will be lost at the end.
The issue of death is a serious matter in this context. I heard of a case of someone who died leaving a wallet with crypto worth over $50k and non of family members know the wallet password and seed phrases.
Exactly what I say. Don't complain after my death if you never asked or listened how it works.
By all means, I am gonna make sure one of my children know about it and can confidently operate a crypto wallet.

Thank you for the warning reply on my post. I will admit that the image used is AI generated which I got from Meta AI on WhatsApp and I failed to reference that on the post.
I just ran an AI detection on the post after seeing your reply and it came out 100% original on gptzero.com. However, I ran another detection on another AI detection platform and the result shows a 4% AI generated text. I guess the reason for that could be the grammarly keyboard I am using.
I will be very careful next time to ensure I keep my post free of AI generated text and ensure proper references whenever I used AI generated image on my post.
Thanks for the warning. I appreciate.

I appreciate your efforts to putting things right on the Hive platform. After reading this analysis on my post, all I can say is that, I am short of words.
However, I still like to say, I never intentionally used AI for writing. Like I said before, I use grammarly keyboard and Google docs for writing and editing, and most times I used the words and grammar suggestions from grammarly while writing. I never knew that can affect my original text to this extend.
I will desist from using any of those writing support from now onward and keep my posts free from anything that has to do with AI.
I sincerely appreciate you for letting me know about this, and I promise to do better from now on.
Thanks
