You're a good man who's only trying to help his colleague who'd in a tight spot, unfortunately he pays you back with evil, not caring how you'll have to be the one to cover for the money he cart away with, it's dishearting and given my own experience with some friends, I've made it a point of duty to not go out of my way for anyone again, especially when it's not family or something I can easily let go.

Going out of ones way to help people shouldn't be a bad idea because there are people who really need that help but it's annoying how they come back to betray this trust not thinking of the sacrifice we made on their behalf.
All of these experiences don't mean that we mustn't help, we just have to be careful.
