Hello guys. Good evening how you are doing? Trust you all had a great day? Because I do! It was really a great day, cool weather and productive as well as fun in a way. Today, I'll be sharing with you a story which you might have heard before from one place or the other. It is a story that talks about patience or better still teaches us to think before making our decisions. In other words, the moral of the story is that we should look before we leap. It teaches us to think of the consequences of our action before taking them. You will be wondering what the story entails? So, let's move forward and spill it and put an end to this suspense.
There there is a woman that lives in a village in a hut with her baby girl and a dog. The husband of this woman is working in a distance Village, so she basically stays in the house alone with her baby girl and her pet. Each time she goes out to the farm she leaves her baby girl in the cot while the dog looks after her. She trusts this dog so much that she always go out to the farm every day that the dog takes good care of her child without any thing bad happening to her child.
On this fateful day she came back from the farm and she saw something shocking and rather annoying. She saw that the baby's cot have been severely damaged and scattered while her precious dog has blood all over her face. The dog was licking the blood off her mouth with passion. This made the woman angry and furious - she checked inside the cot and saw torn pieces of her daughter's dress. She cried heavily. She took a big stick close to her and beat the dog to death. After the death of the dog she decided to look around to see if she will see the remains of her daughter but she was shocked to see her daughter under the bed with a clean dress smiling happily. Then, close to her was a dead snake torn apart lying in blood.
To cut the long story short, the precious dog killed a snake that was about to attack the baby in her cot. This led to the destruction of the cot and the blood in the mouth of the dog. The woman didn't verify before acting leading to the death of her precious dog. There's a lot to learn from this story.
