La pintura captura un instante cotidiano: una mujer con rasgos de sirena sentada en la orilla, la cola apoyada sobre la arena húmeda, mirando el mar con una paciencia serena. No hay gestos grandilocuentes ni elementos mágicos; lo importante es la calma del momento El cuadro sugiere una historia mínima y humana: alguien que ha aprendido a esperar y a observar, que conoce los ritmos del mar y toma ese conocimiento con tranquilidad. Es una escena de cotidianeidad contemplativa, donde la presencia junto al agua es suficiente para transmitir un estado de ánimo —reposo, atención y la aceptación de lo que traiga la próxima marea. Esta obra la realicé cuando aún era estudiante y se la regalé a un amigo pero quiero compartir con ustedes esta pequeña creación. La técnica utilizada fue oleo/ lienzo con dimensiones de 1.20mx0.70m

The painting captures an everyday moment: a woman with mermaid-like features sitting on the shore, her tail resting on the wet sand, gazing at the sea with serene patience. There are no grand gestures or magical elements; what matters is the calmness of the moment. The painting suggests a minimal and human story: someone who has learned to wait and observe, who knows the rhythms of the sea and embraces that knowledge with tranquility. It is a scene of contemplative everyday life, where the presence by the water is enough to convey a state of mind—rest, attentiveness, and acceptance of what the next tide may bring. I created this work when I was still a student and gifted it to a friend, but I want to share this small creation with you. The technique used was oil on canvas, with dimensions of 1.20m x 0.70m.
