Today I’d like to share one of my latest paintings, inspired by a trip to the beautiful Polish city of Przemyśl.
I love wandering through old towns, discovering hidden alleyways, observing crumbling plaster and ancient cobblestone streets. One particular scene caught my eye and became the starting point for this piece.
Of course, I added my own touch – some imagined flowers appeared, all painted in my signature fairytale style. Through watercolor, I created a new, alternative reality – surreal, dreamy, and filled with nostalgia.
Cat also likes it (i hope).
A very good painting. With expressionist winks. I love the way you translate the light and the harmony that generates that warm foreground, as a selective focus, within an environment that feels cold. I sensed hints of lights of spring perhaps
