Hello, young art enthusiasts, I'm glad to present my latest piece for the Hive Art Gallery contest. A bold banana drawing on paper.
Working within the required theme color YELLOW pushed my creativity to new perspective. This piece challenged me in all the right ways, especially since I chose a difficult medium like crayon paired with the deep tonality of charcoal pencil. It took time, patience, and plenty of experimentation, but the result is something I'm truly proud of. Hope it peels back a smile 😃 ahahhahahahhaha
This work took me 2(two) hours to draw.

In this stage, I used my charcoal pencil to highlight keh areas i want to shade and also areas that needs darker tones, this pretty much is like the basics but very important if you want your drawing to come out neat and catchy.
At this point I started adding yellow colors to the banana

What I can say about this work is how great it pushed me beyound any doubt to try, I always believe in trying but when I saw the. Color theme I felt a little bit discouraged, but after experimenting, trying and failing I became so proud that I was able to finish with a good drawing.
