So here’s is finished piece I posted earlier…
The piece serves as a reminder to not sleep on dreams. The piece evokes the idea of rest, temptation, delay, and even a warning of thoughtfulness.
One eyes is slightly open, one hand is tense, and the hair braid almost act like a thread tying her to consciousness. It’s not a deep sleep: it’s a watchful rest…what’s your thoughts on the finished piece?

Created with oil on canvas, started with the sketch, then to the under painting, to applying the body tones and values..till the finished piece.
