Every portrait tells a story, and sometimes words aren’t needed , the eyes do all the speaking.
This drawing is one of my personal favorites because of the raw intensity in the gaze. The young boy’s eyes are bold, piercing, and filled with unspoken emotions. They reflect innocence, strength, and perhaps even questions about the world around him.
I worked carefully with graphite pencils to bring out the textures in the skin, hair, and shadows. The challenge was to capture not just the likeness, but the soul of the subject, that feeling you get when the eyes follow you and hold your attention.
Art, to me, is about more than beauty. It is about freezing emotions and moments in time. This piece reminds me that every child carries a story in their eyes, waiting to be seen and heard.
