Hey everyone,

I am excited to share my recent artwork that captures an indelible moment from the End SARS protests in Nigeria—a period that profoundly shaped my perspective on justice and reform. This monumental movement, which surged in October 2020, stemmed from a heartfelt plea to disband the infamous Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a police unit widely condemned for egregious human rights violations.

Among the many remarkable figures who emerged during this time, Aisha Yesufu stood out as a beacon of courage and eloquence. Her impassioned speeches energized countless Nigerians, inspiring them to rise against police brutality and the systemic issues plaguing governance. The collective spirit of resilience and determination that permeated the protests left an unforgettable mark on our nation and its people.

To give you a glimpse into my creative process, here is the initial pen sketch that served as the foundation for my thoughts and ideas:
