PLASTIC LANGUAGE EXHIBITION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARTS [ENG/ESP]
Hello HIVE, I hope everyone is doing well, enjoying the art and good vibes.
Hola HIVE espero que todos se encuentren muy bien disfrutando del arte y las buenas vibras.
As many of you in the community already know, I'm a Fine Arts student, and this has been the best decision I've ever made. I've been able to grow tremendously, gaining knowledge and developing a conceptual framework and my own language for my artistic creations. All thanks to the Arts University, where I've acquired valuable tools that allow me to express my ideals in a more engaging way. One of the curricular units that has allowed me to develop artistically is "Plastic Language," where experimentation with materials and creativity come together to give life to a new world of possibilities. I already passed that stage a couple of semesters ago, but this past week saw the final project submissions for those currently taking that curricular unit, and I went to appreciate the artistic creations the students presented.
Como muchos aquí en la comunidad ya saben, soy estudiante de Artes plásticas, y esta para mí ha sido la mejor decisión que he tomado, ya que he podido crecer muchísimo llenándome de conocimientos y desarrollando un criterio conceptual y un lenguaje propio para realizar mis creaciones artísticas, todo gracias a la universidad de artes donde he podido adquirir valiosas herramientas que me permiten expresar mi ideal de manera más amena; una de las unidades curriculares que más me ha permitido desenvolverme artísticamente es "Lenguaje Plástico" donde la experimentación con materiales y la creatividad se unen para dar vida a un nuevo mundo de posibilidades. Ya yo pasé esa etapa hace un par de semestres, pero esta última semana fueron las entregas de proyectos finales de los que actualmente cursan esa unidad curricular y fui a apreciar esas creaciones artísticas que presentaron los estudiantes.
There were very good and creative artistic proposals, each with its own essence and strength that distinguished them. This new generation of students is truly very artistically active and committed to their personal growth and development in the artistic field.
Hubo muy buenas y creativas propuestas artísticas, cada una con su esencia y fuerza que las distinguía, de verdad que esta nueva generación de estudiantes está muy activa artísticamente y vienen comprometidos con su crecimiento personal para desarrollarse en el ámbito artístico.
The best part of the search for artistic language is the experimentation process, as it forces you to step out of your comfort zone and try new mediums and materials you'd never imagined using before. Those who come to study painting end up making sculpture, those who come through photography end up making performance, and so, step by step, they expand their vision of what they understood as art and find their true language, which drives their growth and determines the specialty to which they will truly dedicate the rest of their lives through art.
Lo mejor de la búsqueda del lenguaje plástico es el proceso de experimentación, ya que te hace salir de tu zona de confort y probar nuevos medio y materiales que nunca antes te imaginaste usar; el que viene a estudiar pintura termina haciendo escultura, el que viene por fotografía hace performance y así paso a paso expanden su visión de lo que comprendían como arte y encuentran su verdadero lenguaje que impulsa su crecimiento y determina la especialidad a la que realmente le dedicara el resto de su vida mediante el arte.
I'm happy every time there are final semester submissions at university because I allow myself to learn from each of the presentations and proposals my fellow students share with us. This is part of the academic and artistic process, appreciating and learning from the ideals of other creators. Art has changed my life positively, and I'm happy with all the progress I've made thanks to it. I hope you enjoy this post. Good vibes.
Soy feliz cada vez que hay entregas finales de semestre en la universidad, porque me permito aprender de cada una de las presentaciones y propuestas que mis compañeros estudiantes comparten con nosotros, esto es parte del proceso universitario y artístico, apreciar y aprender del ideal de otros creadores; El arte me ha cambiado la vida positivamente y estoy feliz de toda la evolución que he tenido gracias a eso.
