My work “Spring Haze” was selected as a HONOURABLE MENTION in the “ABSTRACT” Exhibition organized by Gallery Ring.
I entered the competition to see how well I could paint a picture, since everyone has such a high level of skill. In Japan, it would be called an “honorable mention,” and I am happy that it was chosen.
However, I would have liked to have won a prize if possible. I believe there was a prize, so I wanted the prize money as well. Well, I guess I should continue to devote myself to my work. I will do my best. It is only with your support that I am able to paint, and I believe that this Honorable Mention is the result of that support, so I am very grateful. Thank you very much. Thank you for your continued support.

このたび、Gallery Ring が主催した"ABSTRACT" Exhibitionで、私の"Spring Haze"という作品がHONOURABLE MENTIONに選ばれました。
皆さん技術があるので、私がどれくらいの絵を描く力があるか確かめるために応募しました。日本で言えば「佳作」というところで、選ばれたのは嬉しいです。
ただ、出来れば入賞したかったですね。確か賞金があったと思うので、賞金も欲しかったですが。まあこれからも精進しなさいということですね。頑張ります。私が絵を描けるのも皆さんの応援あってこそで、その結果が今回のHONOURABLE MENTIONだと思いますので、とても感謝しています。ありがとうございます。これからもよろしくお願いいたします。
