I've created the Hive Cycling Community quite quickly after I have joined Hive back in 2020 since I didn't see any cycling related community and I thought there would surely be more cycling enthusiast on Hive.
Back then I didn't had a lot of followers and no network to make the community thrive, so it didn't take off the way I expected.
A couple of years later I had grown my account and I had some more connections, so I decided to restart the Cycling Community.... with success!
With the support of the @OCD Community Incubation program I managed to grow the community, which now has over 600 subscribers.
Over the years I kept 'managing' the Cycling Community on my own, but it never really became the active community that I had in mind when I started it.
For a large part this is my fault. I've tried to attract new users, both from Hive as well as from other platforms, but it just didn't work out that well.
And now I'm going to take a break from Hive. This means the Cycling Community will not be managed anymore.
If anyone wants to manage this community, feel free to reach out to me: friendlymoose5717 @ gmail . com (without the spaces) and I'll give you control over the community.
Thank you all for the nice Cycling blogs over the year and keep op pedaling!
And who knows, maybe see you around!
