Hello bike lovers, how are you? I hope well.

A bike competition is an event that brings together crowds, the excitement of the competition is present in all sports. "The joy in cheering, experiencing a different moment, betting and interacting with local businesses are clear examples of a sport that attracts the public's attention."

In the third week of April 2024, a cycling competition took place on the clay roads in the interior of the cities of Canguaretama and Goianinha. The event took place from Wednesday to Saturday and the events were divided into two categories: women's and men's.

The women's events took place on the first two days, at first (Wednesday), all the athletes who signed up for the competition participated in a qualifying test. From what was announced, the race broke a record number of participants, 42 women took part in the event and only 10 qualified for the grand final that took place the following day (Thursday). The grand champion won a new bike and a prize of 5 thousand reais.

On Friday, the men's competition started, a crowd of candidates, more than 100 people, the qualifying race was very chaotic, several accidents and the route was restarted twice. After many unforeseen events, the event ended with 20 classified for the grand final.

The last day of the competition was very calm, the initial audience was reduced with the reduction in the number of participants. There was an addition to the route, something that was only said before the competition. After around 30 minutes of racing, the champion was finally decided and the prize was a bike and 10 thousand reais. You may ask why the male prize pool is higher, however, this is related to the number of competitors and the amount paid for registrations.

The event ended successfully!

I didn't participate directly, I followed some moments through the lives provided by the competition. It was exciting and stimulating, but I couldn't participate due to my work.

It looks like a dirt race; cool, but really tough I think!

My friend, I can't say for sure how many kilometers they covered, I'll ask my colleague who participated. When he responds, I'll comment something.

All I can say is that the route passed through some places between the 2 cities. It wasn't just one lap, for the women it was 2 complete laps. As for the men, in the qualifiers there were 3 laps and in the final it was only 2, as they had an extra route.
