The instructions are very clear - you hold onto the first bit, rest the second bit on top, slot them into the third bit, smash them with the hammer, then remove the first bit and replace it with the fourth bit. Wrap the tape around everything making sure no parts are exposed, soak it in 1 part vinegar and 2 part water overnight, bake in oven 160 degrees for 5 hours. Remove from oven and cool it in ice. You should be able to remove the second bit after 3 hours. If it fails, start from the beginning again. It normally works.
