run.vince.run just finished a 27.13km ride, that lasted for 69 minutes.
This ride helped run.vince.run burn 564.0 calories.

Description from Strava: @cycling
It's school holidays in NZ and as part of the club we organise some school holiday training with some of the junior members. Today was a cycling specific sesstat a go cart track just outside of the city.
It is a great place to have a quick ride around. The circuit is only 600m long but you get very good at your cornering after a few laps on the circuit. Unfortunately, I was one of the adults today so got to the track and some of the juniors had already arrived. So didn't get a few bonus laps out on the course beforehand like I was hoping. Doesn't matter cause the junior's seem to be enjoying it which is the main thing.
We have some more sessions booked at the track so will post some more when I get back there.

Heya @run.vince.run - I think my strava2hive is acting up again 😅 My run from last night didn't upload to Hive so just double-checking I haven't done something. Is there any way I can manually upload these activities myself? (I’m conscious of bothering you every time this happens haha!)

Ok I jumped onto Strava and can see that the most recent run you have done with the title "The Meadows" doesn't have a description. If that is the one you are talking about, no activities from Strava are uploaded to hive if they don't have a description. It's all part of the service as it is trying to encourage people to say some as part of their posts as well. I hope that helps. I haven't looked at a way to manually post and might be something to look at shortly. I am doing a lot of upgrading of my skills to hopefully make things a little better with the service. Let me know if you need anything else.

Aha!! Okay, thanks for letting me know - I’ll quickly add a description now 💫🙏🏼

But thanks for your patience!! @run.vince.run 🌞

All good @actaylor I enjoy it...it's been great seeing the service grow and people use and I definitely appreciate everyone who uses it.

I was just thinking - it might be useful to be able to manually pick what post you’d like to upload to Hive. Let’s say you’re doing multiple activities in a day. It would be nice to have control over what activity to share here! Just a thought. 🙌🏼

Hm! But I suppose you can do that by not adding a description? 🙃

Yep, there is a lot to think about and any suggestions are welcome. I use Strava specifically to not have to have to build and host my own app or website. It is not perfect but it does save a lot of money and time not having to do that other work.

It really is a brilliant service - definitely one I’m making the most of in Hive! 🧡

Just put in a description! Hopefully postable now! 🤞🏼☺️ @run.vince.run

Wonderful activity to do with juniors on holidays, it's a great way to use free time.
