Yep, like @amaterasusolar tells us, 80% of jobs are just moving money around.
That is why I say on any given tuesday the workers of the world can ignore the owners and accounting department, continue to fill the shelves, and take what they need.
Specialty orders would take longer, but whatever the big box stores stock will still be available provided the workers continue to do the work in the amounts required by demand.
IF the accounting department and owner fell into a lake, who would notice?
