I have been working for a little old lady for every day this past week. I am not charging her anything, but she will not fail to reward me. I had a nice bowl of hearty soup when I staggered off her roof today. I work for goodwill, and when - especially when - SHTF, nothing is more valuable than the goodwill of the people in your community. Roving gangs of thugs looking for victims to press gang? Your community that has goodwill for you will hide you from them. Hungry? They will feed you. Got a bill to pay and no KYC biometric ID bank account? They will pay it.
I'm not waiting for SHTF. That's how I live now.
