I am still 100% powered up in HIVE and STEEM.
I thought i would use power up day to tally up my coins. The jump in the price of HIVE has turned my experiment in crypto into an actual investment.
I decided to move my HBD earnings into Hive-Engine. I suspect that I am losing money on my purchases. The myriad of different coins is so confusing that I have a hard time figuring out which are winners and losers.

I opened a gallery on NFTShowroom . I spent 8 HIVE to buy three low priced art works. I decided to list each piece at a price higher than my purchase price.
I like the idea of buying art from artists. I see no reason why I would want to buy art from an NFT speculator.
This leads to the question of how one should value an NFT gallery. Since I am not the artist, I cannot see any reason why anyone would buy from my gallery.
But I am willing to lose a little HIVE while people experiment with different ideas.
Archon and DHEDGE and Annoying Drips
Last month, I increased my holdings of ARCHON and DHEDGE. People who hold these coins receive daily drips in their Hive Engine account. I bought a bunch of DHEDGE at $0.30.
The drips were fun for the first few days but I decided that they were annoying. Today, I receive 21 drips. The drips were all worth substantially less than a penny. I had 70 DHEDGE in my account this morning. I received the following DRIPS.

I love the idea of dripping different coins. I think DHEDGE could improve their product by dripping different coins each day. Instead of dripping 21 coins each day, DHEDGE might two coins a day and cycle through the different tokens.
The big problem I have with DHEDGE is that all of the small transactions makes my page on the blockchain explorer difficult to follow; So I decided to sell the DHEDGE. I might buy some more NFT art pieces with the funds.
Sadly, I don't think the alt coins were worth the time that I spent on tallying up the value of the coins. LEO seems to be the only coin that is holding its own.
