Hello @edystringz. I understand perfectly what you are saying. I grew up in an era where social media was non-existent. So I could care less about it. I'm online now if and when I want to.
I think the majority of the younger generation is too dependent upon social media. I have a feeling it's the "FOMO". God forbid you go to school the next day, or go to the the office or hang out with your friends and you don't know what's the latest thing happening online. Can you imagine the shame!
FOMO indeed.
It's sad, and no solution unless the younger generation is taught otherwise. Parents are guilty of this too by encouraging it. Any child not old enough to work on a paying job receives the equipment to be online, and the funds to operate within such paying sites. That's not to say that computer equipment is not needed for education purposes. It's the other items that are given.
