Humor

People are going through a lot in life. As I write now, we have some people considering suicide due to how hard life has hit them. The quiet person sitting next to you have things going through his mind which could be happiness or sadness. The way you relate with him determines how helpful you could be in salvaging his situation unconsciously. This is why putting smiles on peoples face is very important. One of such actions that put smiles on people's faces is being humorous. It is on this note that I love anything that causes another person to smile or laugh.

Smiling and laughter evoke some antidote to the bad side of life one is going through. We should strive to do things that brings out smile on other people's faces. Perhaps there might few exception like in official settings where some level of visible seriousness is required or parents correcting their children and so on - the happiness of the next person should however be strived at in all situations. I advise you to be humorous, watch comedy movies, read humorous literature to lessen the stress of our daily activities. Wear a smiling looks and always make people around you happy and fulfilled.

What I consider funny.

Whatever makes someone to laugh or be amused is funny. I love stand up comedies a lot. I watch them all the time. As common as someone's appearance,it may be funny. I have seen where someone wears an oversized shoe just to make people laugh. I have seen where someone made a weird combination of foods and eat to make people laugh.

It could be from art works like drawings. @doodleaday made a humorous doodle where he stated;

Now that's how you build a city on a hat.

Some actions from some animals may be funny. Recently I stood and watch a neighbor's drama with his dog and I couldn't stop laughing. Whatever action appealing to my sense of humor is funny. It's good to laugh😀😀😀

Should the humor have limits?

Well, to me, humor should have limit. You shouldn't act in a way that causes people to laugh at a funeral. That will be insensitive to those mourning their deceased loved one. Also, someone's pain shouldn't be used for humor. You shouldn't crack a joke with someone without legs in front of a cripple. Before being humorous, the environment you are and the state of mind of the person next to you or your audience should be taken into consideration.

The kind of humor that I like.

Once the state of mind of the audience and environment is taken into consideration, I love humor in all ramifications. I love physical humors like someone wearing something to cause another one laughter or a funny facial expressions. Self-depreciating as obtainable in stand-up comedies. I also love Wit-Wordplay where you twist language around with humorous results.

My thought about dark humor.

Well, I am not much a fan of dark humor. Going by my earlier stated conviction, only few dark humors takes the environment and state of mind of the audience into consideration. If it does, then it's appealing to me. Throwing some comics in a an underlying depressing theme is not really fun to me in most times.

Funny anecdote.

I was walking down the street and I saw a fine lady selling sachet water. I called on her to buy a sachet. Suddenly, I heard a sound of a music coming in from a nearby open space. "What's happening there?" I asked "They are doing a party" replied the lady. I convinced the lady to join me to check it out.

We went there and met a dancing competition going on. We sat under the canopy where many audience were being served food. I collected my food and ate. They questioned my membership but I insisted I was among the audience. Behold, I and my new found friend participated in the competition and won. Thereafter, a bus came and every other persons were entering. I made attempt to but my friend was concerned about where we were going to. I convinced her to enter and that we may be going to get our price there. We both entered the bus.

Few moment later, an official stood up and to address us. He said; "I appreciate you guys. Please, when you get back to the prison, be kind to another so that you may be considered for this outing next time." Whaaaat, I have been packed with the inmates heading to the prison. "Please, drop me, I am not among" I protested. The official asked two of the inmate what they said the last time they were taken out in such manner. They answered in chorus; "I am not among" Behold, I became a prison inmate for not minding my business.
