Atmanna Garden Blog 14th April 2021

Gooday folks

The last snow (hopefully) here where i live in Bulgaria was one week ago, but now it's much warmer but i'm pretty sure spring has arrived and there will be no more frost or snow so we'll start putting some seeds and seedlings in the ground in the greenhouses.

I've planted a few seeds over the last month or so in pots inside the house. On Monday a volunteer from Ireland arrived and he planted a bunch more seeds in pots yesterday. I also bought two Zucchini plants, four cucumber and three basil plants from the local market to get a head-start.

So far we have planted the following seeds/roots (several varieties of some of them):
Radish, lettuce, beetroot, melon, pumpkin, zucchini, cucumbers, cauliflower, parsley, broccoli, carrots, sage, dill, chives, thyme, spinach, snapdragons, pot marigolds, turmeric, ginger, comfrey, mint, parsnip, sunflowers, cilantro and more that i've forgotten to mention or don't know the names of (as my Bulgarian is abysmal - which i intend to change this year).

Many more pictures to follow in later posts, which i intend to make a couple of times per week throughout the growing season (mid April to late November approximately).

I have also resumed my daily mediation and kundalini yoga practice and healthier eating. Feeling good!

Much Love
Atma

Awesome! Enjoy your future food forest ;<)

it seems quiet inspiring that you are very conscious about your fitness of physical and mental bodies... keep it up bro....

where have you been initiated in kundalini yoga???
i'm asking u this because kundalini yoga is purely Indian culture for spiritual seeking of truth...

You live in Bulgaria.. outside India.
so where have you learnt it???

Gooday brother. I am fairly conscious, but i do have some quite long lapses, but back on track again now.

I originally began practicing hatha yoga when i did a yoga teacher training in Thailand in January 2012, taught by a Romanian teacher who spent some time in India before moving to Thailand.

I continued training at a branch of the same school, which later changed to a sister school Hridaya Yoga in Mexico where i did several silent retreats (called the Revelation of the Spiritual Heart).

Later I spent 4.5 months as a karma yogi in France in 2017 helping to renovate a chateau and serving in the kitchen, of the European HQ of Hridaya yoga.

While i was in Mexico (running a healing retreat centre which i opened in 2012), a friend introduced me to an excellent Kundalini teacher Jai Dev Singh who taught via online courses. The friend and i bought several of his courses over the years and i've been practising for about 5 years now.

I was given the name Atma Sanghat Singh by Nirinjan Kaur (who was trained to give spiritual names based on tantric numerology by Yogi Bhajan) of the 3HO Kundalini Yoga organisation.

I also spent 10 months at Arunachala Hridyam in Wayanad, Kerala during 2017 / 2018 following the ancient path of the Upanishadic Seers, before i strayed (by breaking a couple of precepts required to stay there), then settled in Bulgaria where i bought my home in 2019.

If you're interested you can read more about my journey in this introduce yourself post which i made last year.

Thanks for your comment.

Namaste

wow what a journey you have made. Your thirst for seeking the truth made a very amazing and profound walk of life. I am very happy that you have trained by a guru and you have achieved their blessings after wandering too many places.
A blissful journey you have made. Thanks for sharing with me your experiences... thank you brother...✌❤

There is so much to learn from you...

Maybe so, but none of it is really true, it's more like a dream, so take it all with a pinch of salt :-)

Looks great!
I would enjoy spending some time with you at your beautiful place ;)
Nature surrounding and all the benefits from being away from crazy towns...
