People get in and out of investments, that’s normal. There was a time Aggy pushed a lot of packs, CL packs. That was the only practice that was wrong and we are still paying for that mistake. But notice, he is not CEO anymore. In fact other than his own assets in game, he is not really involved. Which is a good thing and welcoming thing.
We are the new management with the SPS-DAO and we have lot of control in the game now. We have steadied the ship and making great progress.
I have started the game about the same time as you in 2018. I am happy with my investment.
That makes sense. I just think there is still a bit of stigma there. I'm glad you guys are working to fix that. Maybe someone should write a proposal to give Alpha, Beta, and CL cards a multiplier boost if they are locked up on land... Like some kind of legacy buff or something like that.
they already have: alpha has a 10X boost on land, Beta 5X, Untamed 2X, and CL 1X
This is a massive boost. Go to the market and see if you can get a max common alpha card :) You can't.
Maybe it's just the fact that I have so many CL cards. Due in part to the past issues as you said. Maybe it's time for a bigger boost to CL. I know when we were in the last cycle I pushed a lot of outside money into Splinterlands. Just bad luck it was during the CL and RW packs where they totally over saturated.
No further boost will be provided, boosts are fixed in stone :)
Think about it, there are so many CL cards are out there, it was a highest printed set. If you give them any boost, you will add massively to the inflation. That will be a NO NO.
What we are trying instead is to burn those excess CL cards. We did that successfully during the latest land cards set.
Maybe they give better return for burning cards then. I'd be happy to burn some of mine if I was going to get a better return on it. I mean really with all this back and forth it sounds like the biggest issue that ruined a lot of the game for people was the over printing of Chaos Legion packs. It's crazy how one thing can dominio so bad.
