Aloe can be tricky at first but once you get the hang of it, it’s so rewarding! The number one mistake most people make is overwatering — aloe really wants to dry out completely between waterings. Make sure it’s in well-draining soil and a pot with drainage holes, and give it as much bright light as you can.

Ah see, I read direct sun is bad. I will have to move it!

Actually aloe loves bright light — just avoid harsh afternoon sun which can scorch it. Morning sun or bright indirect light is the sweet spot!
