It's official, as of just about a week ago, I have reached the end of my Summer content for HIVE. I guess that is pretty fitting given the fact that yesterday was the first day of Fall. While Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end of Summer, the calendar now confirms that the end is really here. I always enter this time of year with a bit of trepidation.
Fall is actually my favorite season. Between Oktoberfest, football, and just cooler temperatures in general, there is a lot to like about this time of year. However, for me the anxiety starts to creep in as I begin to think about what I am going to post here on HIVE. It's easy during the summer, pretty much every weekend is filled with one adventure or another basically ready made for a HIVE post.
That doesn't mean I don't have anymore adventures planned for the year, but as the weather turns a little less pleasant, it's harder to get out and make those experiences happen. Unless you are loaded and you can fly wherever you want, but that definitely isn't the case for me. Though I do have one flight planned in the near future.
The good news is, I still have a few weeks left in my musical journey across the United States for #threetunetuesday, that has my Tuesday posts taken care of. Likewise, on Fridays I always post about finance and with the crypto markets actually showing some signs of life, that might not be as tough of a stretch as it has been in the bear market.
That leaves Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday that I need to find content for. The good news is, I have a list of topics I have been cataloging in my Google Keep for quite some time now. The bad news is, many of those narrative don't flow quite as smoothly as my travel or food posts. The fact is, it is easy to write about things that were fun or exciting. Things that have been etched into your memory because it was just an awesome experience.
Reflecting on the state of the world on the other hand isn't quite as fun.
While I hope to avoid posting just for the sake of posting, there will likely be some posts over the next few months that don't necessarily "land" with you the way some of my other posts have. That's okay. As much as I appreciate people reading my posts, I do this for myself as much as I do for my readers. Others have mentioned in the past about how therapeutic posting on HIVE can be. It's more than just a blog, it's also a journal and is usually the case, journals are something intimate and personal. Just like I am writing this post about my deepest fears of not having content for the next few months.
I've been reading a lot lately. More than I have at probably any other time in my life. Well, except back in elementary school with the "Book It" program where you could get a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut if you read so many books. I was a reading machine back then. These days, I typically have two books going at any given time and I've been tearing through a couple series at what for me is a record pace. Due to that fact, I'll probably start trying to do some posts on the new Scrobble platform that @acidyo developed.
From what I have seen it has a fair amount of potential and given my recent consumption of media, it might be a good outlet for me.
The funny thing is, I feel like every year I have this same dilemma where I am not sure what I am going to write about during the cold winter months, and somehow I always seem to make it through. Perhaps I will pick up a new hobby. Maybe I will start to do some more AI development. Even I don't know what the future holds for me at this point. Which honestly is a bit terrifying. I do appreciate everyone who follows along on this journey with me. If nothing else, you might get to see some pretty photos and interesting food over the next few months!

Thanks, I just need to figure out what that new hobby might be! For so many years crypto has been my hobby and it has gotten me pretty much nowhere!
