These are hard times in IT industry with AI eating up the jobs. Companies at one end are saying leverage AI as much as possible and at other end they are doing RIF(Reduction in Force).. On the job side security now there is no control and as you rightly mentioned one needs to be prepared with other investments working out.. Best wishes.. Cheers

Appreciated and for now I try to prepare for what's coming next. Probably will be able to squeeze one more year in the current contract, but if I don't have a plan B it will be very hard as I saw happening with those that got fired. Some of them didn't prepare a soft cushion and were even expanding their living.
