This is unimaginable though. I thought it might only be forbidden to be used in some educational sector, but not a general thing. For example, I don't think a doctor should be using AI, but a software engineer should definitely be using it. Why is it banned for some, in your company?

Probably my boss thinks that AI could eliminate his job or whatever, I cannot understand it. It is banned just because he can decide upon it, but probably when upper management will find out it will turn around.
My guess is the hallucination, like that time when an AI included a python library that didn't exist. Somebody subsequently published that library and had their choice of what to do with it.
I think it is appropriate to view AI like a talented green coworker. He needs guidance and for his work to be double-checked.
