One cannot trust anyone particularly through phone calls , scammers are everywhere. I get calls daily from London which I think are automated calls with various numbers. They are offering related investment schemes. No matter how I blocked each number , comes a new one...I'll finally ask my provider to block any incoming calls from the UK and I'll see if such annoying calls continue.
Wow, looks like people from the UK have something with you. It's interesting though. I only get emails from God knows what countries, pretending all kinds of things.
