Ultrarunning Magazine - 40 Years, New Subscriber

in Ultra Running3 years ago

The Ultrarunning Magazine celebrates its 40th birthday this January. As a part of celebration, they offer a 25% subscription discount (for USA-based subscribers).

They've got a new international subscriber.

International hard copy subscription is actually $60 or $5 per month or $6.67 per issue.

I was undecided between hard and digital issues. The later is $20 and you get all the PDFs. The final decision was to go for the printed version. I am an old fashioned guy and love the touch and smell of paper. A few more bucks is not a big deal either.

Done!

Every time I will receive a new issue, be it PDF or paper, I'll publish the content highlights in the Ultra Running community.

Why?

  • because I love to run
  • because I love to run far (slowly)
  • because I love to relive the experience of running far through the words and experiences of other (ultra) runners
  • because the ultrarunning community and culture resonates with my soul
  • because I share the values with the ultrarunning community - the love of outdoors and nature, exploration at your own pace, going on a journey, understanding, acceptance, appreciation, encouragement, ... lots of things :)
