It's great to have a community like this where one can share this kind of experiences. I forgot to mention in the post that we also bought some school supplies for these kids. We did not take pictures of that. We did not think it would be necessary or appropriate.
We know it does not solve all their needs, but it was nice to see them happy getting a present without being Christmas 🥰
