Have you ever felt attracted to the coast? That magnetic pull toward the infinite sea,the salty air,the continually crashing waves? It's a feeling hard to define,it's one of vastness and grounding,of tranquility and a touch of wildness.
A picture that summed up this feeling exactly turned up one day. This was not a movie-perfect beach or an extraordinary sunrise. It was something less complicated, asolitary shape sitting under a tiny,weather-beating tree with branches extending out towards a choppy, agitated sea.
While I'm in the under the tree, quite still, appeared to be drawing the coast's energy upon myselves.Their stance was slouched, nearly resigned to the present. The sea reminded me of the few things that define our life, the still moments, the thoughts, the way we seek solace surrounded by disorder.
Sometimes, the sea was a reminder of just this, the most lovely occasions are those we do not even recognize we are having. Those times of silent observation,of merely being present,is when we really link with the world around us.
Best place to sit and think in tranquility, enjoying the beauty of nature at the same time.
Sounds idyllic! Tranquility and nature – the perfect combination.
