Hello daily blog friends.. Today is a very bad weather here in our country because there is typhoon.. so i can't leave the house and go where i want to go,, while i was sitting and drinking my hot coffee.. i looked at my aquarium and suddenly i had thought.. because I'm bored and have nothing to do.. I'm thinking about to clean my aquarium.. it's been a while since i've cleaned it and change the water.. i only add water if isee it's getting a little low.. but that's okay because the fish and plants prefer not to change the water often.. while i was cleaning,, i suddenly thought again because i was bored.. so instead of cleaning,, i thought about changing the design since i have nothing to do and i have a lot of time..

The first thing i did was i find a small aquarium and fill it with water,, then i take all the fish and the snail and put them in the small aquarium.. after that i find a small hose to drain the all water of my aquarium.. ididn't throw away all the water,, i put half of it in a bucket.. i'll use this half and half new water so that the plants and fish will not shock in the new water.. After i drain all the water in the aquarium.. i took the aqua plants and driftwood.. and i put in a large basin with a little water so that the plants will not wither while i'm setting up..

When i finish getting all inside the aquarium,, i immediately cleaned it.. then i wiped it to dry.. i cut a piece of styrofaom that is as wide as the inside of the aquarium.. so that it would be easily to removed the next time i change it again..

I also took some sand with small stones.. i took to types of sand.. one is brown and the one is black.. this is what i will put later to plant my plants.. i just used the other sand that i got from the aquarium earlier.. i don't but aqua soil anymore because my plants are still alive even thouh they are panted in sand..

I also prepared the plants that i will add and replace the palnts that i removed.. all of these plants are called low tech aquatic plants.. which will survive even without co2 in the set up.. this is good because it is less in maintenance..

After i finish prepare all the things i needed.. i started to set up.. first i put the big plants with pot at the side.. and then i covered it with the old sand.. i plant also the other plants at the side.. and then i covered with sand at the top.. i put some small driftwood for the design..after planting all the plants,, i'll prepared the water to put in the aquarium..

I used styrofoam to cover to pour water and to covered the sand so that it will not disturb..
and now the fish and snail has new environment..i hope the will enjoyed in their new design home..😊
