La semana santa es el momento propicio para estar en casa, compartir en familia, reflexionar, disfrutar de deliciosas comidas y también para leer e interpretar la Palabra de nuestro Señor JesuCristo. Espero que hayan podido hacer todo lo anterior expuesto.
En mi caso aproveché estos días para realizar algunas reparaciones menores en casa, eliminar filtraciones y recuperar las puertas de rejas que estaban muy deterioradas. La verdad es que estoy muy contenta porque de añadidura ya tenemos agua (sobre esto les contaré después).

In my case I took advantage of these days to make some minor repairs at home, eliminate leaks and recover the grille doors that were very deteriorated. The truth is that I am very happy because in addition we already have water (I will tell you about this later).
Quizá en alguno de mis post les he hablado sobre un perro que uno de mis hijos trajo a casa ya hace algunos años. Este animalito está grande ya y actualmente por razones de fuerza mayor está residenciado en el patio frontal de la casa, lo que conocemos como porche. Las consecuencias de su estadía allí han sido positivas y negativas.
Positivas, el perro es el timbre de la casa jejeje, apenas se acerca una persona conocida o desconocida él nos avisa. Ya hemos aprendido a identificar los sonidos de sus ladridos. Ahuyenta a los malintencionados o antisociales que pretendan entrar sin invitación previa y nos hace compañía todo el día.
Negativas, debemos estar todo el día haciendo la limpieza en esa área para evitar los malos olores y mantenerla aseada. Se han dañado los portones y esta sería la segunda vez que los reparamos. Algunas personas dejan de visitarnos porque le temen a los saludos afectuosos de quien los recibe, el perrito juguetón.
Maybe in some of my posts I have told you about a dog that one of my sons brought home a few years ago. This little animal is now grown up and for reasons of force majeure is currently residing in the front yard of the house, what we know as the porch. The consequences of his stay there have been positive and negative.
Positive, the dog is the doorbell of the house hehehe, as soon as a known or unknown person approaches he alerts us. We have already learned to identify the sounds of his barking. He scares away malicious or antisocial people who try to enter without previous invitation and keeps us company all day long.
Negatives, we must be all day cleaning the area to avoid bad smells and keep it clean. The gates have been damaged and this would be the second time we have repaired them. Some people stop visiting us because they are afraid of the affectionate greetings from the greeter, the playful doggy.
La corrosión ocasionada en nuestros portones por los orines del perro viene siendo habitual y cada cierto tiempo debemos llamar al herrero para que recupere las partes dañadas. No pensamos en este detalle al momento de decidir mudarlo para el porche. La acidez del orine de los perros es tan fuerte que es capaz de deteriorar hasta los tubos del alumbrado público. He visto postes caerse al solo roce de un vehículo porque ya la corrosión lo ha roto casi todo. Lamentablemente no contamos con los recursos para mandar a fabricar portones con materiales resistentes al orine del perro.

Como pueden observar en la imagen, allí justo donde el perro levanta la pata se dañó completamente el tubo. A pesar de que estaba pintado recientemente. Así mismo se deterioró el portón, claro, nosotros a tiempo no pudimos mandar a repararlo y se partió, por lo que para evitar que se escapara el perro por ahí le colocamos provisionalmente una barrera de bloques (no se los aconsejo).

La posición en la que decidieron colocar la lámina galvanizada (hacia dentro de la reja) es con la finalidad de que el orine del perro no dañe tan rápido los tubos, que de por sí no son de buena calidad. Puedo sugerir que antes de decidir tener una mascota, un perro especialmente, ya tengan ubicado el lugar en el que podrá hacer sus necesidades. Si vives en una casa amplia con patios de tierra sería ideal para ellos.

Hola Lelys. Me quedé asombrada, no sabía que el pis de perro podría dañar tanto los metales o_o. Eso es muy potente jajaja. Que bueno que se ocuparon de arreglar esto con el presupuesto que tenían a mano, se ve muy bien y prolijo. Espero que esta vez dure más que antes.
