UN DÍA DE COMPRAS CON MI MAMÁ.
A DAY OF SHOPPING WITH MY MOM.
Hola amigos, yo soy Lelys. Me hace feliz pasar de nuevo por la comunidad para compartirles una salida amena y divertida que hice con mi mamá. ¡Salimos de compras!
Me encanta salir con mi mamá y mi hermana porque ellas son muy divertidas, les gusta visitar tiendas y recorrerlas por completo. Por lo general yo evito caminar mucho, pero cuando voy con ellas salgo preparada para pasar parte del día caminando.
Nuestra primera parada fue en las tiendas de bisutería, la cual aproveché para consultar precios de algunos materiales que necesito. Lamentablemente en este lugar ubicado en el centro de la ciudad la atención no es buena, podemos pasar horas esperando a que nos atiendan. Por esa razón no compramos nada, pero si pude ver algunos materiales y sus precios.

I love going out with my mom and my sister because they are so much fun, they like to visit stores and go all over the place. I usually avoid walking a lot, but when I go with them I go out prepared to spend part of the day walking.
Our first stop was the costume jewelry stores, which I took the opportunity to check prices of some materials I need. Unfortunately in this place located in the center of the city the attention is not good, we can spend hours waiting to be attended. For this reason we did not buy anything, but I was able to see some materials and their prices.
Mi mamá tampoco es de caminar mucho porque sus piernas se cansan rápido. A pesar de ello caminamos un montón, lento pero caminamos. Visitamos en nuestra segunda parada una tienda de telas. Allí ví un material que me interesó, es algo que llaman estructura. Es como una malla de cuadros plástica creo. Es posible que luego la compre porque quiero hacer proyectos con ella.
Mi mamá y mi hermana buscaban telas de algodón para hacer pañales para bebé. También elásticas e hilos. Hay mucha variedad de diseños en telas para pañal. Próximamente tendré un nuevo sobrino y mi mamá le hará los pañales. Elegimos tres diseños diferentes de telas, pagamos y salimos. Allí nos atendieron bien y rápido.
My mom is not much of a walker either because her legs get tired fast. Nevertheless we walked a lot, slowly but we walked. At our second stop we visited a fabric store. There I saw a material that interested me, it is something they call structure. It is like a plastic checkered mesh I think. I may buy it later because I want to do projects with it.
My mom and sister were looking for cotton fabrics to make baby diapers. Also elastic and yarn. There is a lot of variety in diaper fabric designs. I have a new nephew coming soon and my mom will be making diapers for him. We chose three different fabric designs, paid and left. They took good and fast care of us there.
En esta tercera parada fue donde estuvimos más tiempo. Nos tardamos porque las escaleras eléctricas para subir no estaban funcionando y pasamos esto esperando el ascensos para subir y luego para bajar. Ya habíamos ido unos días antes y mi mamá había visto unos cojines y forros para sus muebles.
Este día mi mamá estaba súper animada porque recién estaba terminando su tratamiento y se sentía muy recuperada. Estaba contenta y la entiendo, luego de pasar muchos días en cama y sin fuerza, poder salir con toda esa energía es emocionante. Siempre le agradece a Dios por ello.
Estuvimos unos minutos en el área de los cojines mientras ella se decidía por los colores y cantidades. Estos cojines son para las sillas del comedor. Escogió unos muy lindos y enseguida mi hermana @linita los abrazó para continuar con el recorrido y después pagar. Me gusta comprar aquí, aunque cuando hay mucha gente es incómodo.
This third stop was where we spent the most time. We were delayed because the escalators to go up were not working and we spent this waiting for the elevator to go up and then down. We had gone a few days before and my mom had seen some cushions and liners for her furniture.
This day my mom was super upbeat because she was just finishing her treatment and was feeling very recovered. She was happy and I understand her, after spending many days in bed and without strength, to be able to come out with all that energy is exciting. She always thanks God for that.
We spent a few minutes in the cushion area while she decided on colors and quantities. These cushions are for the dining room chairs. She picked out some really cute ones and immediately my sister @linita hugged them to continue the tour and then pay. I like shopping here, although when it's crowded it's uncomfortable.
Nuestras últimas paradas fueron en una tienda de variedades, comercios asiáticos y farmacia. En alguna de estas tiendas mi mamá compró todo lo necesario para hacerse las uñas semipermanentes. Se animó luego de ver qué yo compré mi kit sin gastar mucho. Mi sobrina le regaló la lámpara y ella salió a comprar las bases, limas, pinturas y demás materiales que se necesitan. Tardó eligiendo colores de pinturas para las uñas, pero no estábamos apuradas, apenas era media mañana.
Mi mamá sabe que yo comparto algunas cosas personales aquí en mi blog y siempre me pide que le tome fotos para que publique y también para que le envié postales a mis hermanos. A ella le gusta que la vean feliz 😀 y yo la complazco.
Luego pasamos a la farmacia y fue cuando me enteré de un sistema de pago inteligente que hay en esa farmacia en particular. Mi hermana no usó el servicio, pero me gustó ver cómo hemos avanzado a pesar de ser una ciudad pequeña. Es un sistema de auto pago, bien chevere.
Nuestra última parada la hicimos en una heladería, pero yo no tomé fotos. Disfrutamos del helado, conversamos y volvimos a casa. Me encantó la salida. Disfruté estar con ellas mi mamá y mi hermana. Y ese día fue cuando compré las bolsas de relleno para mis amigurumis, así que yo iba con una enorme bolsa que no pesaba nada.
Our last stops were a variety store, Asian stores and a pharmacy. At one of these stores my mom bought everything she needed to do her semi-permanent nails. She was encouraged after seeing that I bought my kit without spending much. My niece gave her the lamp and she went out to buy the bases, files, paints and other materials needed. It took her a while to choose nail polish colors, but we weren't in a hurry, it was only mid-morning.
My mom knows that I share some personal things here on my blog and she always asks me to take pictures for her to post and also to send postcards to my siblings. She likes to be seen happy 😀 and I indulge her.
Then we moved on to the pharmacy and that's when I learned about a smart payment system that is in place at that particular pharmacy. My sister didn't use the service, but I was pleased to see how we have advanced despite being a small town. It's a self-pay system, very cool.
Our last stop was at an ice cream shop, but I didn't take pictures. We enjoyed the ice cream, chatted and went home. I loved the outing. I enjoyed being with them my mom and sister. And that day was when I bought the stuffing bags for my amigurumis, so I went with a huge bag that didn't weigh
weighed nothing.

Hello. Thank you very much for the comment. We make diapers for emergencies here, and those diapers are also used to clean the baby or cover him. My mom is much better. 🫂
